WHAT DOES AN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST DO?

Educational psychologists promote learning, academic performance, and the behavioural, social, and emotional development of learners of all ages (Health Professions Council of South Africa, 2010).

SERVICES WE OFFER

Scholastic and academic assessment

The scholastic and academic assessment include cognitive ability, academic functioning (reading, spelling, and numeracy), auditor and visual-motor integration and a neurological screening and emotional development. This assessment may take over 4-5 hours, and it is dependent on the child or student with regard to their needs. A report with findings and recommendations will be provided and the parents will be guided in the feedback session. The report may be used for school readiness, school placement, learning and remedial support, accommodation, and concessions
